AMPP Chapter Indonesia (used to be NACE Chapter Indonesia), is the local
Indonesia partner of AMPP International (used to be NACE International), and aims
to establish a forum for international technical exchanges, creating space for
academic and industrial practitioners networking, promoting communication and
cooperation in the corrosion control area. Its main activities include
conferences, expositions and training programs, and knowledge sharing.
On 6th August 2022, AMPP
Chapter Indonesia held their annual event, Technical Group Discussion &
Exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia. This event was held at Aston Priority Hotel
TB Simatupang and attended by many students and professionals engaged in
corrosion and asset integrity business.
PT Wilson Walton Indonesia, as one of
the leading company in corrosion protection and asset integrity in Indonesia, was
given a chance to be involved within this event. Along with PT Sincerity Energy
Indonesia (PT SEI), PT WWI introduce the latest technology from Cosasco and Cortec® Corporation.
This event also become one of PT WWI’s commitment to always contribute in the future of corrosion protection and asset integrity technology in Indonesia.
Within this event, PT WWI with Cosasco
introducing their latest product, Echo Point. Echo
Point is Cosasco’s newest technology that pushes the boundaries of wireless
ultrasonic monitoring. Ultrasonic transducers powered by off-the-shelf
batteries communicate using WirelessHART to compatible gateways. An integrated
thermocouple with a temperature correction algorithm provides high-accuracy
measurements.
While for PT Sincerity Energy Indonesia (PT SEI), in collaborated with Cortec® Corporation, they introducing Cortec’sVpCI® Technology,as an innovative, environmentally safe, cost-effective option for corrosion protection. While conventional corrosion inhibiting treatments for the internal surfaces of fluid systems protect only in the liquid phase, Cortec® VpCI® Technology can provide corrosion protection in the liquid phase, vapor phase, and at the liquid-vapor interface.
